Midnight Season 1 Begins March 17, But M+ Waits Until March 24
Midnight Season 1 officially kicks off on March 17th, bringing the new raid, PvP season start, Season 1 delves, and Mythic 0 dungeons all at once.
- Despite billing this as the full Season 1 launch, Mythic+ keystones are delayed a full week to March 24th, after the raid opens. The stated reasoning is to prevent raiders from pre-gearing via keys before the Race to World First.

Hearthsteel Housing & Shop Controversy: Squirrels, Kobolds, and $125+ in Decor Bundles
Blizzard dropped several new paid collections: the Scurrywind Groveglider Collection (four flying squirrel mounts) and the Cozy Kobold Collection (four kobold romper transmogs), along with four new Player Housing Decor Packs, totaling over $125 in Hearthsteel purchases if bought à la carte.
- The Springblossom Tree, a housing decor item, launched so overpriced that Blizzard later issued refunds and added two extra trees to affected orders after widespread community backlash. Blizzard called it an "incorrect price"; many players called it deliberate limit-testing.
- A recurring complaint: shop mounts have noticeably higher visual polish than earnable in-game rewards, custom summon animations, unique particle effects, and special footprints, which many players feel is an intentional imbalance designed to drive purchases.

New Content Live: World Events, M0 Mounts & the Arcantina Key Nerf
Two world events are now live: Legends of the Haranir, a weekly story quest series about the new allied race, and the Abundance event, where players harvest materials to honor Dundun the Loa for crafting reagents including Fused Vitality. Completing the Haranir achievement requires a minimum of 7 weeks with no missed lockouts.
- Two new Hawkstrider mounts, including a variant with spectral in it's name but the current wowhead model only shows an added spell effect on a otherwise identical mount, are now farmable from Magisters' Terrace and Windrunner Spire on Mythic 0 difficulty.
- The Key to the Arcantina was hotfixed to a 15-minute cooldown Silvermoon Hearthstone after players discovered it could teleport directly into any Midnight dungeon, bypassing the normal portal system.

- The Haranir achievement is locked to 7+ weeks minimum with no catch-up. Is that reasonable pacing or just another frustrating timegate?
