$100K Tourney + Legacy System + Horde in DALARAN + WoW News
Episode notes
Welcome to the Last Attempt Guildcast. In this episode, Squirrelthug is joined again by guildmate Templrivanho. We start at the raid wall: Heroic progression stuck in phase three, and why the Race to World First running this long and this hard drags the rest of us along with it. Then it's World of Warcraft: Forever. Dalaran is live on the beta, and a bug has the Horde strolling through the city while a clickbait headline sets X on fire. Clay Stone's PAX talk covers the GDKP ban, the RMT ban waves, and a gentler gear curve built on resistances instead of item level, and Holly Longdale's keynote reveals Krol'dok Stronghold. We also get into the $100,000 beta tournament and why we think item and scroll exploits will win it, plus how to prepare for early name reservation (October 27 through November 3) ahead of the November 4 launch. On the retail side, 12.1.5 gets a Race to World First, housing lumber costs come down, and Zul'Aman arrives on TBC Anniversary realms while Classic still has nothing on the roadmap. We close with a first look at ThugUI, Squirrelthug's add-on for retail and Forever, now live on CurseForge.
